Explore Alexandria Middle & Old age.

A bridge between the past and the present, Alexandria was known in ancient times as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean" for being a pioneering centre of art, architecture, and science. In this program, you will immerse yourself into the history of the city through a guided tour of the ancient streets and neighborhoods, while listening to recounts of their history and significance throughout the ages.

This is a fascinating journey to see Alexandria's most significant attractions. The first day will begin with a special and extensive visit to the Library of Alexandria and all of its private museums. You will be served a traditional Alexandrian lunch. The next day, you will return to the Mamluk era in one of Egypt's most historic Mamluk strongholds, the Citadel of Qaitbay, and you will learn about part of Alexandria's Greek legacy in the Greek Club. The combination of Pharaonic and Roman art will be obvious on the fourth day when you visit Pompey's pillar and Catacombe, Kom El Shoqafa. You will have a wonderful experience at the Antica Association, where we will have lunch with some handicraft industry ladies. You can  imagine how many accessories and artworks will be on display. The Roman theater and the history of El Nabi Daniel Street will be covered in the last two days. You will also have a fantastic day at Al-Montazah Palace Park.
