Breathing Land promotes the Mediterranean region as a main tourist destination to enjoy Slow Tourism experiences. Slow tourism is a type of responsible and sustainable tourism that differs from mainstream tourism by the use of the time during the enjoyment of the experience. It is a fairly new concept that evolved from the Slow Food and Cittaslow movements dating back to the 80’s and 90’s. In recent years this approach to travel has gained adepts who look for a more conscious, sustainable and responsible way of discovering the world. Under slow tourism, the tourist has more time to explore culture and history, travel through landscapes and enjoy local natural cities and experiences. This is in an exchange of reducing carbon-intense mobility. We invite you to learn more about it in the following link

The products included in Breathing Land promotional actions are the results of the cross border cooperation Med Pearls project and include destinations in Spain, Jordan, Italy, Greece, Palestine and Egypt.
