TREK & WINE IN CARDÓ

A Trek&Wine experience in Cardó mountain range, where hermitages and scenic peaks “pair” perfectly with the delicious wine and olive oil.

La Garnatxeta and El Morrandes, two of our Explorers and experts in wine and food (respectively) will guide you on this break, that combines hiking and wine tourism with accommodation in Rasquera. As you know, you have to walk a bit and enjoy your surroundings to work up an appetite and earn a good lunch and a tasting of some local produce. On the first day they'll take you round the 14 (!) hermitages dotted around the "desert" of the Cardó hills, revealing some strikingly beautiful hidden corners. The next day they'll take you up to the Coll de Pins, a pass where you'll gain an insight into one of the episodes of the terrible civil war.

But both days, in the afternoon La Garnatxeta and El Morrandes will be delighted to take you to visit one or two local farmers. You can meet the owners, connect with their authentic spirit and their everyday work and finish off by tasting the olive oil, wine and cava they produce.
